With so many school closures, I wanted to provide an easy to plan and easy to use set of reading passages in both print and a paperless (Google Slides™) versions. The reading passages for 3rd - 5th grades target important reading comprehension standards.
Here's what's included:
10 Reading Passages from many of my favorite units:

4. The Wright Brothers: Text Evidence
5. Fennec Fox: Text Evidence Kit (this one has 3 levels for differentiation)
6. Fables - The Lion and the Mouse, The Dove and the Ant: Compare and Contrast

Teacher Notes for Digital Learning (includes a link to Google Slides™)
These reading passages may be sent home for a traditional pencil and paper learning activity or they can be assigned using Google Classroom™ for Google Slides™.
***Full disclosure...I scrambled to convert the printables from my reading units to make them Google Slides™ and Google Classroom™ compatible. Having said that, there are no bells and whistles included, unfortunately. The slides have students type in the text box for open-ended questions or drag and drop the circle for multiple choice answers. I'm still hoping they can be helpful for you and your students.
Here's another great At Home Learning FREEBIE:
I just added 6 more days (now it has 10 days) to my Morning Work FREEBIES too, specifically for the possibility of school closures. These have a page a day with reading, grammar, math, social studies, and science. They can be printed or used digitally with Google Slides™ for Google Classroom™:
