FREE Candy Heart Graph for Valentine's Day FUN!
Students love candy heart math and you will too! I have my students use this graph paper to color the results of the whole class data collected on how many candy hearts there are of each color in all. Since my students are third graders, I choose to make it more challenging. But you can also just have students color their own results from counting their box of hearts.
I also draw a large graph on chart paper that students help me color in using the whole class data collected. Six students, one for each color go around and tally up on a clipboard how many there are of each color at student desks. Then, as a class, students need to decide if they will count by 2, 5, or 10 on the left column where it says the number of candy hearts they have tallied up. Finally, students can color in their own graph in the same way as the whole class graph.
