These are two of my favorite sayings in the classroom, and I am happy to share them with you!
Mistakes are proof that you are trying - this is so important, especially if you use any of the Whole Brain Teaching ideas in your classroom. When someone makes a mistake, the class says, "It's cool", and we move on.
It's okay to not know; it's not okay to not try - everyone has topics that they know nothing about, even teachers! We need to model this in our classrooms, and show that the important thing is to take that first step and try.
These free posters are a part of my Student Self-Assessment Tools, which are based on Marzano's levels of understanding. If you would like to see that product, you will find it HERE
I hope that these posters are useful to you in the classroom.
