I developed this one page worksheet for my preps (first year of school in Australia) to give them more practice with counting on. No preparation needed - just print off the worksheet and you're good to go.
Students roll a die and fill in the missing number (dots). They then count on from 6 and write the total (dots or numerals). You can't roll higher than a six so this activity reinforces starting from the biggest number when counting on.
Aligned with common core maths standard K.CC.A.1.
