Product Description
This worksheet is designed to aide students in identifying specific types of figurative language and explaining why. Students will read 10 different sentences/passages, some of which are examples from popular literary works, and use the word bank (allusion, alliteration, onomatopoeia, imagery and idiom) to choose which term best matches the example. Then, the students will explain WHY they believe that is the correct term. They should use specific examples from the sentence to support their answer.
