A student tutorial compiled from available resources to teach flow chart basics. Designed to be a short standalone unit that will last about 6-8 sessions. A student booklet is available to complement the exercises in the tutorial and allow for offline use to discourage the internet addicts in the class.
Teacher can use their computer to control the computers and the pace of the class using the tutorial, to elicit learning and questioning through the introductory and example section and as the unit progresses the less able are monitored and the more able can work autonomously through the exercise booklet.
Differentiation incorporated through the levels of difficulty in completing the flowcharts and the accompanying homework booklet.
