To my fellow educators and therapists,
Welcome back to the school year! I’m sure every one of you has been busy shopping on TpT for some resources and activities to head start a productive year for your classrooms and caseloads.
I hope this product will be helpful for you. I am trying to change my speech-homework program to something more manageable for both my students and my families and their busy schedules. Rather than sending a homework folder, I will be trying these “home-tips” instead, which is page 1 of this file. Fill in the blank lines with the child’s name and the skills they worked on. The squiggly square is the area where you can write in a suggested home practice activity to generalize skill. I have one in English and in Spanish. Don’t forget to sign your own name!
The second page is a rating scale, one for younger children and one for older, more literate students. I have used other rating systems before, but I wanted something new. Rating systems give them a chance to tell me how they felt about the lesson, and these new ones let them have a chance to color in their response (my students love coloring lately)!
