Free sample pages from: Icicle Craft for Speech/Language
Students use pipe cleaners and beads to create their own language icicles. Instruct the child to add a bead on their icicle after each correct response or the specified number of trials. Bend the pipe cleaner back and forth twice before adding the next bead. This activity can be used for articulation or as reinforcement for a variety of skills in therapy. At the end of the activity, icicles may be taped to the practice sheet to take home for carryover or hang the "speechcicles" from the door to the therapy room to give your room a wintry look!
