FREE Liberty's Kids Ep 22: Marquis de Lafayette Returns

In this episode, the Marquis de Lafayette escapes France at the defiance of King Louis in order to serve under Washington. When the Marquis arrives at Congress, he is immediately rejected and told to return home. However, with some convincing the Marquis is finally allowed to serve and proves himself worthy of leadership in the Continental Army.

These video guides were created to help students answer essential questions about America's history as they they watch episodes of the Liberty's Kids series. Using a word bank, students will fill in the blanks as they watch the video.
