Description

Here are 5 free pages of kindergarten morning work (or daily review)! Both language and math are included in all of my morning work packets! This morning work is great as a quiet settling activity in the morning, after recess work, or end of the day review.

This is a sample taken from my larger resource. If you like this morning work sample, the 76 page pack can be found at the link below:

Morning Work! Kindergarten

In the morning work pack for purchase, the format repeats several times before a new concept is introduced. Only one new area/concept is introduced at a time while the rest of the worksheet mirrors the format the students have been practicing. Therefore, this morning work should remain a fairly independent activity!

Most kindergartners should be able to work on these fairly independently. This pack begins by reviewing letters and numbers (numeral, tally, 10 frame). Then, shapes, colors, and sight words are added. It gradually introduces number decomposition (using the part, part, whole model) and corresponding number sentences. Then, colors, shapes, and addition/subtraction. Time (to the hour) and sentence practice are reviewed toward the end of the pack.

The review format repeats several times before a new concept is introduced. Only one new area/concept is introduced at a time while the rest of the worksheet mirrors the format the students have been practicing. Therefore, this review should remain a fairly independent activity!
