FREE Penguin Multiplication Dice Game

Sometimes we just have to make math fun for our students! Here's one way to practice those multiplication facts (up to 6 x 6) with a partner and have fun at the same time.

This Penguin Dice Game requires two dice and some game tokens. That's it! My students love playing this with a partner. It is just one simple tool that helps lead to the fluency/automaticity/memorization that is required in third grade by the Common Core State Standards. Of course, it can be used for review in other grades, as well!

The game comes in both color and black and white. I like to print the color ones and place them in plastic page protectors. (When you do this, you can use two colors of dry erase markers instead of game tokens.) Then I leave them at a math center, or use them for early finishers.
