In the first step, students make words from smallest to largest, in step two, students sort words based on common words families, and in step three, students apply the skills they learned to read and spell new words.

Includes instructions, student worksheet, teacher key, and teacher letter and word cards sized for a standard pocket chart. Skills: spelling, phonics, rhyming words, word families, and spelling strategies.
