Imaginative Teacher

I created this hunt for the 700 students at my school to complete and they had a blast! Originally, I actually made 3 different, smaller ones but have condensed it down to 1 larger, more generic hunt to match more school locations. The younger students had an older buddy work with them so this was a wonderful collaborative task that incorporated fitness, ICT and teamwork.

How to participate:

You will need a QR Code Scanner App pre-loaded onto the devices you plan on using (a free one is fine!). Print pages 3 to 15 and place them around the school at the correct locations. At the top of each picture is the place where you should put it, and also the answer that students will write down on their recording sheet (pg.16). Set up the codes ahead of time in their locations.

Students scan the first code labelled ‘START’. This will reveal a rhyming clue. Students read the clue, work out where the next location is and then proceed to that location.

I have intentionally included the answers to help you keep track!
