This packet includes four FREE reading exit tickets. Two fictional exit tickets cover cause and effect. Two informational exit tickets covering comparing and contrasting are also included.

Two exit tickets per strategy are included. The first ticket is a free response style or written response style question about a passage, while the second ticket includes multiple choice/test prep style questions.

The purpose of exit tickets or exit slips is to provide a quick and easy way to assess students at the end of a lesson informally. Exit tickets quickly help teachers plan for the next lesson and differentiate their instruction. Students can complete tickets during a transition time or as they are leaving the classroom.
