Product Description
Encourage your students and families to keep reading with the…
"Reading Reminder Tool Kit" Parent Gift.

I have given this out throughout the beginning of the school year. Parents love it! Give this item out at conferences, parent nights, back to school night, meet and greets, open house events, reading nights, etc.

How to use this product:
1. Collect the items necessary for the toolkit bag.
2. Print, copy, and cut out enough for your class.
3. Staple or glue on the left side so that it can open like a book.

Cover Reads:
"Reading Reminder Tool Kit"

Message inside:
"I hope this Reading Reminder kit will remind you of all the wonderful things that opening a book will do for your child. Make reading a priority in your household."

Contents Reads:
"Puzzle Piece: you are a very important piece of your child’s education
Rubber band: to stretch imaginations

Band Aid: to mend the heart and mind

Candy: for the sweet satisfaction of learning something new

Q-Tip: to open the ears to the meaning of words

Gum: to remind you to always stick with reading"

**TIPS**
You will need to find and/or purchase the following items for each bag: puzzle piece, rubber band, band aid, q tip, gum, candy, and a bag to put them in (such as a ziplock bag, brown paper bag, or small gift bag. I was able to find most of these items in my house (q tips), classroom (ziplock bags, rubber bands, puzzle pieces of an old puzzle), or nurse’s office (band aids). I ended up only needing to purchase candy and gum. I spend less than $5 total at the convenience store!

This item has a boy and girl version. Prints in black and white. Copy on colored paper and/or have students color for their parents.
