These are two sequencing puzzles with a St. Patrick's Day theme that require students to calculate the total value of a group of coins, and then order the groups from greatest value to least value. The coin group values do not exceed $1.00.
These puzzles can be cut apart and laminated for a math center. If so, you may want to provide a wet or dry erase marker to allow students to first write the value of each group of coins before they sequence the strips. A second option would be to let students assemble non-laminated paper copies of the puzzle and then glue to construction paper. In this case, they can write the value in pencil before sequencing.
A second version of each puzzle is included with additional cut lines to make the puzzle more difficult to put together since students cannot rely simply on the picture to put the strips in order.
I'm still new to TpT, and I appreciate all feedback!
