These story sticks are a fun way to work on vocabulary and story sequencing.
All you need is to print the images on page 3, a paint stirrer, and some Velcro dots! Attach the mouse to the top of the stick. Have your students sequence the items from the story as you read the book.
-Use these images in a sensory box.
-Have the students follow directions to address spatial concepts (“Put the bird under the snail.”)
-Let the student retell the story using the visuals.
***This activity is intended to be used with the book, "Mouse's First Spring." The story is not included in this download and the activity is in no way associated with the author of this book.***
