Connect Four makes a simple and fun math centers for learners. Plus, it’s a simple game to differentiate, making it just-right for a variety of learners!
In this resource you will find visual directions (for students) and teacher directions for this game!
We use Connect 4 to play Making 10/15/20 in my 1st grade classroom, but there are so many ideas for using this board game –
*creating CVC or CVCe words
*making a whole out of fractions
*adding to 1 using decimals
*connecting shapes with similar characteristics (number of sides, type of angles, etc.)
*add task cards, students can’t pull a counter until they correctly *answer the question on the card
