Are you working on fluency with your kids? Do you (or they) have an iPad with Keynote on it? (All newer iPads come with it free.)
This Keynote file is a TEACHER’S NOTEBOOK that tracks student fluency. It’s very easy to include a picture of the text, along with a recording of the student reading the text, and notes. How awesome is it to have this data at your fingertips for your own reference or to share with parents and other teachers? Use it year after year and continuously update the notebook to fulfill YOUR NEEDS.

There are many ways you can use this notebook:
*Use it for a GUIDED READING or strategy group to keep track of progress.
*Use it at CONFERENCES to demonstrate a students fluency and as jumping off point to explain how parents can help at home.
*Have students record themselves, listen to themselves read it, and REFLECT on how they did. Have them reread and get better and better!
*Have them record themselves and reflect on EACH OTHER’S fluency.
*Have students record reading for you to listen to LATER. It can be HARD to get to all of them in one period! ☺
Try it! It’s free! Please let me know what you think!
