Free Thanksgiving Cards - What I Am Thankful For - Writing Project
Days of writing personal letters and handwritten cards are slowly leaving us. Children are growing up so fast in our modern age. Most easily understand texts, emojis, and facetime conversations. Sadly, most of these same children do not know the beauty of receiving a handwritten letter or card from a close friend or a relative who lives miles away.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with modern texts; it is a quick and easy form of communication. However, the art of writing a personal letter or card should never be lost or forgotten.
My FREE Happy Thanksgiving Cards Writing Project
contains an array of writing stationary for your students to use in order to create a collection of cards to send to their love ones. This would be an awesome project to embark your students on.
Some ideas for students to write cards to include parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, other teachers, people who work in their school, such as the custodian staff, cafeteria workers, the recess aides and many, many more.
Thank you for downloading this simple, little activity that will bring a smile to not only your students’ faces, but to the ones who will receive these Happy Thanksgiving Cards.
