FREE Writing Prompts

This is a big thank you for all of the love you've shown my writing prompts this past year. They are so much fun to create, and I enjoy hearing how you've used them in your classrooms.

SAVE $$ NOW on my Writing Prompt Bundle #1
With prompts such as:
*The Day our Teacher was Kidnapped by Aliens
*My Flight on a Magic Carpet
*My Opinion about Chores and many more!!

SAVE $$ NOW on my Writing Prompt Bundle!! #2
This bundle includes prompts such as:
*The Day it Snowed Marshmallows
*How to Build a Fort
*My Opinion about When Kids Should go to Bed and many more.

In this FREE set, I've included three writing organizers and three matching draft pages. The organizers are great for helping kids structure their writing. Each organizer includes an introduction, several body paragraphs, and then a conclusion. The informative and narrative organizers use a first, next, last sequential story telling system. The opinion organizer requires the children to state three reasons for their opinion.
The draft pages are perfect to use for rough and then final drafts as the children work to improve their writing.

The free writing prompts in this set are aligned with common core standards for Kindergarten and First Grade. They would be great for literacy centers, homework, or class work. They could be used as prompts for journal writing as well.

I hope these writing organizers spark imagination and are helpful in your classrooms. Let me know if you have any questions. I am happy to help.

Thank you!
