What are my recommendations for use in your classroom?

◾ These are intended for formative assessment, but you may use them for summative assessment, if you wish.

◾ The bottom row is blank so that you can fill in the appropriate numbers for scoring, based on your own grading system, whether each category is scored out of 5, out of 10, and so on.

◾ I recommend that you print the rubric page you need and then make as many copies of the full page as you need in order to have a rubric for every student.

◾ Once your copies are made, cut each rubric into its own strip.

◾ When it’s time for students to turn in the assignment, you can give them their rubrics and have them staple the rubrics to their papers prior to turning them in to you.

◾ Alternatively, you can staple each rubric to the assignment as you grade.
