Second of two FREE downloads with primary letter sound drills:
This packet is not intended to be a substitute for the resources used in classroom instruction. Rather, it is a tool to assist anyone working with primary aged students on letter sounds. The images are simple and friendly in order to encourage a comfort level for the very young reader. Each card has the letter or letter combination, a word where that sound is used, and an picture illustration of the word. My suggestion is that the child recite the letter names, then voice the sound the letter/s make, finally recite the example word. ie: for “cr”, say “c” “r”, make the “cr” sound, then read “crab.” It is my desire that this book build your child’s confidence in and enjoyment of reading.
