FREEBIE: Digital Word Work Activities / GRATUITÉ: Étude de mots

Teaching virtually or want an interactive activity for your students to do in-class? Check out this FREEBIE word work resource!

These FRENCH Word Work activities can be used with any word list or theme so that your students can practice building their French vocabulary in a fun, engaging way. Every slide includes movable alphabet letters (with accents!) to build their words.

HERE'S WHAT'S INCLUDED:

• Word Work Mat - Type the words you'd like your students to be practicing in the word list (or have them do it themselves) and they click and drag the letters they need to build each word.
• Build-a-Word - If you want your students specifically focusing on certain vocabulary words, this activity fits the bill. Type the words you'd like them to build before assigning the activity.
• Read it, Type it, Build it - Similar to the previous activity, but this slide focuses on one vocabulary word at a time. Provide the students with the word they need to practice so that they can type it and build it themselves with the provided text box!
• Image to Word - Working on a specific theme? Insert clipart images into the little boxes so that your students can practice building the words based on the picture clue.
