My philosophy on teaching is that if kids can’t learn the way we teach, we must teach them the way they learn. I use this Father’s Day Activity for a fun way to wrap up the school year. We remember to celebrate Mothers, but sometimes Dads get overlooked because our school year is coming to a close. Use this activity as a fun End-of-Year project for your students, while you’re wrapping up your classroom! Ask students to describe what they think of when their dad comes to mind. They can write a description, draw a picture, or even cut out pictures from a magazine or bring some photos from home! It's free of busy distractions, like clip art and hard-to-read fonts. Special needs students are not the only ones who benefit from a clutter-free paper!
