activity is designed to be a math center to develop your students ability to identify the features of 3D shapes. Students take turns to roll a dice and move around the board. When they land on a square they read the instructions and cover a corresponding shape in the middle of the board with their colour counter (for example, if a player lands on ‘cover a shape with 6 faces’, they could place their colour counter on a cube or a rectangular prism). The game ends when all the shapes in the middle are covered. The player with the most shapes covered is the winner!
This PDF download includes 2 versions of the board game - one with a black background and one with a white background to save printer ink!
There is also a 2D Shape version of this game you can find here: *FREEBIE* Find and Cover - 2D Shapes Game
