Jump into fall with this themed fluency passage. Ideal for first grade, second grade, and intervention students. This fluency passage comes with 6 different pages. Students should do one page each day. My recommended sequence for you is:
Monday: Read the passage 3 times
Tuesday: Read the passage once, then answer the comprehension questions
Wednesday: Read the passage, then draw a picture to help visualize it
Thursday: Read the passage, circle the nouns, then use one of the nouns you circled in a new sentence
Friday: Be a detective! Fill in the missing words from the fluency passage.
There is also a page for tracking students' words per minute each day that they read the passage.
