I use this project in my Spanish 1 classes during my well being unit in the spring. We cover foods in the fall, so it is a great review of foods for the upcoming final! Reading of instructions, questions, and showing past students' works takes about 30 minutes. My projects are done at home, but it would also be a fun classroom activity if your time allows.
This project is excellent for Spanish beginners or advanced learners. This could be used as a cross-curricular project between health science and Spanish. It also be done in groups as a cooperative learning project. They are great for use as a classroom display on the walls or hanging from the ceiling tiles if the projects are 3-D!
