Teaching a growth mindset in our classrooms grows our students, yet it's not integrated into our curriculum. If we combine ELA standards and a growth mindset, Voila!, exponential growth! Mo Willems is the author of "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus", "The Knuffle Bunny", and "Elephant and Pig" just to name a few. The article and accompanying lessons connects Willems' growth mindset with the characteristic of "practice". Text-based questions and center extensions include Common Core standards and are aligned with Bloom's Taxonomy. Teacher directions for whole group and small group address numerous areas of an evaluation rubric. Links are provided for videos and informational articles for instructional strategies as well. There is something here to engage everyone!
