This project can be used as a 'bell-ringer', exit ticket, or as a brief review of the assignment, or a short fill-in to see what the student's remember. I have used it many times in many classes, both as a teacher, substitute, teacher mentor, class visitor, etc.
I have also used them in American history classes, world history classes, besides my own Louisiana classes. I know of several teachers who have used them in their own classes across the country and they all said they love them and want more of the same types of items.
All the answers are very VERIED which means there are no real right answers. The teacher just needs to know their subject and ask the student if the teacher has any doubts as to where the answer came from.
On the sheet 'Name one word used in this textbook for each letter listed below.' I have gotten for the letter "A" I got Alligator, Antebellum, Acadians, Acadia, Avoyelles, Andouille, atlatl, artifact, African-American, Assassination. I just never know what my students will come up with. I just have to "be on my toes" all the time.
There are 12 question sheets [4 pages] (1/3 size) and one blank for your own questions. Enjoy your FREEBIE reviews.
