This freebie is used in lower elementary grades as a response to an art activity about animal patterns. Students first create an imaginative animal that has a specific pattern and color palette that suit its environment. Students decide if they would like their animal to stand out or blend in, then choose bright or neutral colors for their pattern. This follow-up page is a response sheet for students to explain their choices in this art project. A great and simple way for art teachers to tie some CCSS ELA into their curricula.
