This is a fun, simple, and inexpensive experiment that the kids LOVE! It can be used for many things, but I use it to introduce the words "hypothesis," "observation," "analyze," and "conclusion."
The materials you'll need are:
- Whole Milk (don't use heavy cream it's TOO thick, and skim or 1% is too thin. Whole works best)
- Food dye
- Dish soap (Hand soap works, but not nearly as well I've found. Dish soap def works best.)
- Paper or Plastic plates - 1 per group
Hope your class enjoys this experiment! :)
