Word searches are an activity that children of all ages can get behind, especially the older ones who may feel like their artic goal is juvenile. Students can feel like they are getting a reward by doing a simple and fun activity, but they are getting multiple productions in.
Articulation Goal: Have the student repeatedly produce the target word they are searching for and say it 5 times when they find it!
Language Goal: Have the student read the word, or help them read the word, and then describe what the word is or what it means. You can bring out a resource (tablet, dictionary, computer) to educate your students on how to look up words they don't know. BONUS: head into the synonym section to discover even more words the student may not know.

As always, I appreciate all feedback! FREEBIES are given to graduate students (teaching credential/speech pathology), and anyone who requests a target for me to make. I want to make the most applicable materials for your clients!
