It’s a great activity when learning the types of figurative language and it incorporates creativity. I told my kiddos to make theirs colorful like comics.
I used it as morning work, but you can use it as a literacy center or mini lesson. I hung up my students finished products in the hallway for our “Onomatopoeia” board.
