Looking for a fun activity to do with plastic eggs in your classroom? This will be fun for your students and they will be getting great math fact practice at the same time. You will need plastic eggs and colored candies to do this activity. I am using m&m's, but you could use any little candies that will fit inside the eggs.
You will need to put only two colors of candies in each egg. That way there will be a two part number for the number bond. For example if you put three blue candies and 2 pink candies the two parts would be 3 and 2. The whole number would be 5. (3+2=5)
There is some prep involved to get the eggs ready, but what fun you and your kids will have!
I hope this is useful to you in your classroom.
