This worksheet was designed to help students learn the Scientific Method by completing each step.
The Question is already provided: “How does the temperature change at different times during the day?”
The student will fill in their Hypothesis, Plan, Data, and their Conclusion.
The experiment is a simple one. Record temperatures for 5 days (Monday – Friday) 3x each day (morning, noon, and evening or afternoon). Two sheets have been provided. One provides a column for evening, the other sheet provides a column for afternoon. Use either one depending on your needs.
The goal is to help students determine when the warmest part of the day is (morning, noon, or afternoon/evening).
