Practice the present tense in Spanish with this twist on a traditional classroom activity! The “Cuento al revés” worksheet is structured like reading comprehension questions, but is actually a creative writing activity that also reinforces key grammatical concepts and vocabulary.
This freebie is a "cuento al revés en miniatura" so you can sample the format of my most popular activity series! The freebie version contains 5 questions and half a page of writing space; each of my regular worksheets consists of 10 questions and a full page of writing space. Both this freebie and each full "cuento al revés" come with 2 versions of the worksheet, one with directions in Spanish and one with directions in English, so you can pick the level that works best in your classroom.
This activity has become a class favorite for my students. The questions start out routine and predictable, but they get sillier and stranger as they go! I love to see the surprised expressions on my students’ faces as they encounter the questions that throw a wrench in the stories they are creating!
