CREATE AN INSTANT INTRODUCTION TO THE FRENCH-SPEAKING WORLD IN YOUR CLASSROOM!
Brighten up your learning environment and provide your students with a valuable visual prompt with this set of 40 posters showing a range of world countries and territories where FRENCH is an official language. Each poster shows the country/territory and capital city IN FRENCH, with its national flag, promoting FRENCH as a living language, spoken widely throughout the world.
I've also included some countries and regions where a significant number of the population speak FRENCH as either their first or second language, such as Vietnam. Although a number of the countries featured are officially republics, with some I've used the gender of the country, to highlight masculine/feminine, and the underline the fact that countries have genders too in FRENCH.
All the countries are listed alphabetically IN FRENCH in a separate file - there are three different designs that you can display alongside the posters, and that students can use as a reference resource for their learning files/folders.
The posters look really nice displayed either horizontally across, or vertically down, a particular learning display area, creating a fabulous FRENCH feel and look to your classroom. You can also cut out each circle, and hang with clips from a display string or 'washing line'.
The resource consists of three, non-editable files:
- the posters with a blue and white background
- the posters without a background
- the reference list in three different designs
MERCI BEAUCOUP !
