PERFECT FOR DEVELOPING FRENCH LANGUAGE SKILLS AS WELL AS PRACTISING AND REVISING 99 ESSENTIAL FRENCH VERBS - TWO GREAT GAMES AND CHALLENGES TO KEEP YOUR STUDENTS FEELING FESTIVE AT CHRISTMAS!
I HAVE, WHO HAS? is a great game language learning game. The
repetitive nature of the questions and answers make it perfect for
practising, refreshing and embedding 99 essential high-frequency FRENCH VERBS. It’s a whole-group communicative game, with a multi-skill focus on speaking, listening, reading, vocabulary-building and developing accurate pronunciation. The game really does help to create a lively language learning environment, and is a great alternative to more
traditional 'drilling' activities.
This set features 99 high-frequency FRENCH VERBS with two games and
two challenges - lots of walking and talking to get your students on their
feet, and keep them joyful at CHRISTMAS! Play at regular and frequent intervals throughout December - against a timer in teams works well - can students beat their own time record?
CHILLOUT CHALLENGE features the FRENCH verbs in alphabetical
order, with the question: J'AI... QUI A...?
CHAMPION CHALLENGE features the verbs in topsy-turvy order, which
really encourages your students to focus on the verbs, and asks the
question: AS-TU...? with the response OUI, J'AI...
I've classed the resource as suitable for Grades 7-12, as it really does
depend on the age at which your students begin FRENCH, the stage they
are currently working at, and what areas of learning they might need to
focus on during the CHRISTMAS period.
The games work well if you're homeschooling too: simply change the
FRENCH phrases to: VOICI... OÙ EST...?
I've included a full FRENCH-English alphabetical list of all verbs, which
students find useful as a learning support and reference resource, not only at CHRISTMAS time, but across the entire school year.
The resource consists of a single, non-editable file. Please read the
single-teacher/purchaser use only.
MERCI BEAUCOUP ET JOYEUX NOËL!
