FRENCH VERBS DOMINOES GAMES - PERFECT FOR DEVELOPING LANGUAGE SKILLS AS WELL AS PRACTICING AND REVISING 99 HIGH-FREQUENCY FRENCH VERBS - THREE DIFFERENTIATED CHALLENGES WITH VERB REFERENCE SHEET
My students really love to use dominoes games to practice and consolidate their key verb vocabulary - they prefer to work and learn independently when they can, and these are ideal for that. We use them in a range of contexts, not only when we're introducing the verb vocab - they're great for starters, warm-ups, refreshers, plenaries, free-choice activities and sub lessons - I tend to keep a few folders of games, activities, workbooks and worksheets that my students choose from on a regular basis, according to the language/grammar they feel they particularly need to work on.
THREE GAMES, THREE CHALLENGES!
the verbs are in alphabetical order, FRENCH to English
the verbs are in topsy-turvy order, FRENCH to English
the verbs are in topsy-turvy order, English to FRENCH
I’ve included reference sheets of all verbs in both alphabetical and topsy-turvy order, as students find this really useful as a learning support resource.
There's definitely a bit of prep - printing, laminating and cutting out - do try to laminate if you can - the dominoes are far easier and sturdier to work with, and last for absolutely years!
MERCI BEAUCOUP ET BON DIVERTISSEMENT !
