This French Bell Ringer Google slide show includes variations of a French weekend chat or weekend talk for FRENCH class. French Weekend Chat is a great way to start class on Monday or after a break that personalizes content to your students. It focuses on the simple past talking about specific events of the weekend in FRENCH. It could be adapted for all levels of French including French I, French II, French III, and French IV as a classroom management routine class starter, or brain break.

• The first 15 Weekend Chat class starter activity slides would be great to post as the first activity on a Monday. Each slide could be added to your Google Slideshow of the day Monday.
• The second 15 are general questions in French passé composé to click through and discuss or have students write down answers. You could pick a few to focus on and discuss each week. For distance learning, you could go through the slides together or maybe have students answer the questions using Flipgrid and respond to each other
