My students loved practicing their sight words with these flash cards. I gave each student their own copies of these cut out in little ziploc bags. ( I also had them laminated so they could be reused from year to year.) They know to pull these out when they get a chance and practice them on their own. We also pair up and practice with a partner a lot. These flashcards are easily made into a game where students take turns pulling cards from a pile. If they get the word right, they get to keep the card. If they get the word wrong, the word goes back into the pile. The student who ends up with the most cards wins! I made these cards smaller so more would fit on a page and not take up so much paper/copies. Black & White version.
