This comprehensive two-lesson bundle contains 4+ days worth of instruction for high school students. Make FSA test prep fun, easy, and effective by addressing the first, and most crucial, steps to scoring high on the writing test!

In the first lesson, students will learn a simple, highly effective 3-step method for analyzing FSA Writing Prompts. In the second lesson, they will learn how to quickly and efficiently create a planning outline. These outlines will allow them to write structured, organized essays that are content-rich. Also included is explicit instruction on how to use marking strategies while planning! Advanced and struggling writers in grades 9-12 can easily implement this strategy to identify relevant and effective evidence.

The skills taught are based on the 9th-12th Grade Common Core and/or Florida ELA Standards; however, they are applicable across multi-state, text-based writing standards as well.
