This is another product that helps students with additional practice on introductions and conclusions. However, these task cards can be utilized in other ways, such as, elaborating on the pieces of evidence and explaining how they relate to the claim, practice with writing in certain areas of informative / opinion essays, and paraphrasing.
These task cards may be used whole group, or in centers for additional practice.
Included on each of the EIGHT task cards for writing practice is a claim (main idea, thesis statement, controlling statement, etc), and three pieces of supporting evidence (details) with sources.
