These six FREE reproducible sheets cover homophones, bee vocabulary, thinking skills, and a create-your-own-story activity. They feature Bizz and Buzz, the two main characters in my children’s book, BIZZ & BUZZ MAKE HONEY BUNS (Grosset & Dunlap/Penguin). However, no knowledge of the book is necessary to use the worksheets.
In the book, the two bees use a little “flower” to follow a recipe, which would make it a fun story for introducing homophones. The book is available from all major retailers. The paperback is less than $4 and the hardcover sells for under $8. The story is great for emergent readers but can be enjoyed by children still being read to as well.
A book trailer can "bee" seen here:
