Fables are such a joy to read for MANY reasons! So, if/when you embark upon this genre, use these printables to get students reflecting on and analyzing one or more! Students/teachers choose the fables.
Students will read ANY fable at ANY reading level. They will finish sentence starters and choose from lists of options that cause them to reflect on the author's purpose, point of view, and literary/story elements. They will also analyze and notate the characteristics of their particular fable such as its length, whether personification was included or not, and what the stated vs. implied moral was. Designed for multiple-uses, multi-use.
