This might be my students favorite lesson. In this lesson, students take an image with a head shot and put the face on another image. I typically have my students use their own face or the principals. Students love the results. This is a great lesson to introduce layers to students using the free editing program Pixlr. The lesson is provided as a pdf and with a link to the editable Google Slides Presentation. This is a step by step tutorial and no prior knowledge of Pixlr is required. Teachers often want to do this with their co-workers faces as well. Face swapping is really popular right now. This could be used for any subject area. Students could create fun posters with these for language arts, social studies, etc.
