Use social media to engage students and design a cooperative learning lesson with any subject area to promote discussion and provide feedback!
***Templates – Students can create a small image/icon in the Profile box and add their name on the line at the top. In groups of 3-4, students can generate ideas, provide opinions for debate, recall topic information, etc. Forms can be traded within the group or between groups for greater variety and input. For teacher-led discussions and ideas, provide students templates with information already filled in.
***Thumbs-Up Stickers – Trading comment forms with group members, students can “agree/like” by placing a sticker on the form under the text box.
How to Use:
***Feedback – Using comment lines, students can elaborate on ideas, give reasons to justify their opinion, or add details to topic.
***Data Collection & Wrap Up – Return templates with feedback to original group member. Students can review number of agreement stickers and comments to summarize feedback in short presentation within group or to class.
