Product Description
I used this project to get my students to understand what life was like during the Great Depression. Obviously we had to discuss that computers didn't exist nor could people afford them, but they seemed to like the irony of it.

They also have to ensure that I can see the narrative arc of the Great Depression through their posts.

They create a Facebook Page complete with movies, books, friends, TV shows, etc. They have to explain how each of their 'likes' or 'favorites' applies to life in the Great Depression. They have to provide posts on a timeline and pictures. I actually allow them to do it by hand, but they get extra credit for actually creating the page.
