Fact Family Addition Subtraction Pack Envision MAFS Common Core
Print, laminate and cut out mats. Two size center games. Includes a large mat with animal counters and 30 fact family cards for the mat. Students can use dry markers to write down the answers or use Nocturnal Animal counters. There is set of 34 small mats which have the fact family number already on them. Comes with two worksheets and answer keys. Teacher can use it for small group intervention. It can also be used as an assessment or practice. Everything has fun nocturnal animals and dusty colors. Also comes in black and white or limited color. It has two Standard breakdown poster one Common Core and another with Florida Math Standard MAFS and a fact family poster to hang in the classroom. Goes up to 11 as a sum.
This file will help the students to connect the two operations as they solve problems in a fact family. Students will understand that a part-part whole model can help them to write a fact family for a given fact.

Florida Standard: MAFS.1.OA.2..4.8 –
Determine the unknown whole number in an addition or subtraction equation relating to three whole numbers. For example, determine the unknown number that makes the equation true in each of the equations 8 + ? = 11, 5 =  – 3, 6 + 6 = 
Cluster: Represent and solve problems involving addition and subtraction.
Cluster: Understanding and apply properties of operations and the relationship between addition and subtraction.
Cluster: Add and subtract within 20.
